Julep Alex

Eeeee! The next colour of my alphabetical Julep adventure was Alex and I'm SO. GLAD.
This is SUCH a gorgeous polish, the application was super easy (great formula! [even my boyfriend commented saying I'm getting better at painting my nails.. but it was just the polish]) It's super flattering on my skintone and I think it would be flattering on basically any other as well. I LOVE the metallic sheen to it, it adds dimension and makes it super fun to look at. The finish says glitter but it's smooth as if it were a creme. I HIGHLY recommend Alex.

BH Cosmetics Haul

My love for BH Cosmetics is getting very big, very quick. I received two orders today and was so happy! This isn't a very large haul but it's worth the post to me!

I chose to purchase this for many reasons. The packaging, the names, the colours, the price, and the theme. I love the variety and range in colours, this is for sure a multi-purpose palette. I've only swatched some of the colours so far but I'M IN LOVE.

I purchased this because there was a deal going on where you could get this palette for $6.95 with a purchase of $15+ so I figured... $6.95 for eyeshadows, blush AND eyeliner? Hell yeah! I can't wait to try it! I also adore the packaging since roses are my favourite flower and I'm very partial to the colour black.

I got this because of yet another deal! $11.95 for this palette, a lipstick and a powder. I needed a powder and lipsticks are fantastic and THAT DEAL. I'm so excited to try new looks with this palette and go out of my comfort zone!

I got the lip liner in the colour Stripped because I feel like it'll be the closest to my natural lip colour and give an AMAZING nude lip!

This lipstick came with my Smoky Eye Palette deal and the colour I chose was Naked Peach. I thought (obviously it was late at night and my mind wasn't all there) that this was the most nude colour which is why I picked it. I still love it, and I'm kind of glad I got this one (brighter!) but now I need Forever Nude!!

I actually ended up getting two of these (one with the deal and one of my own purchase) and I'm excited! I use a LOT of powder.

That's everything I got, I hope you like this post & I hope you go check out bhcosmetics! They always have good deals on their already cheap products! I still have tons of stuff I want to try out!

If you want me to make a specific review on anything I purchased, let me know and I will!

Julep Aislinn Swatch

I LOVE AISLINN SO MUCH!!
This is my next polish in my resolution and I don't want to take it off!
I'm not wearing anything underneath it, just some thick coats of this and It's just totally stunning. The application was BEAUTIFUL and I'll definitely wear this for as long as possible! I'm obsessed!

I will 100% recommend this to anyone!

New Favourite Makeup - BH Cosmetics!

So, I have something fun to discuss that I'm super happy about! I recently was looking for makeup (mostly makeup to learn how to contour) and I came across bhcosmetics. When I was on the site, there was a huge sale (end of the year, perhaps?) and I found this on sale for $7.95!
I did more looking around the website and found so many things I wanted for SUCH good prices! I came across a flawless brow trio (I was also looking for something for my brows!!) and a brush set (which, again, I've been looking for) and they were all so cheap!  What REALLY made me purchase, was a free mystery gift with purchase. I'm obsessed with mystery things and free things so I did it. I made my order. And I could NOT have been more happy!

Here is a picture of my order, and since this I have made two more purchases. The product quality is fantastic (my brow game is at it's peak) and if I had more money, I'd make more purchases for sure!

Go check them out here!!

Julep Abigail Swatch!

I have begun my *using all Julep nail polishes alphabetically this year* resolution! I have not, however, begun my *starting to get good at polishing my nails* thing yet so it looks awful.
First of all, this colour is so flattering on my skintone. I LOVE it. I also was really fond of the silk finish. The application was messy and a little difficult (probably my own fault) and I used half+ of the bottle on one manicure (3 tries, though). I am DEFINITELY going to need a back up bottle, and I'm definitely going to need to try it again when I'm better at painting my nails. It was really easy to remove as well which is a massive plus for me. (and it lasted 3+ days! wee!)
I'd recommend this if you have pale skin like I do because it's so flattering!

Next up, Aislinn!!

BzzAgent - Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant Review!

I got my first BzzCampaign! Weeeeee! I've been using it daily since I received it (quite a while ago I believe) and before I even start my review I'd like to say that I love it!

I received
I was pretty nervous about the fact that the scent is "Ooh-la-la lavender" because I tend to detest lavender scented things, but when I opened it I was in shock! It was such a subtle, nice scent that I wouldn't have chosen anything else. My mom told me to be careful when using it because she gets rashes from scented deodorants, so I was super nervous, but to my advantage, I didn't get anything! (except clean smelling armpits)

It dries really quick after application, the scent lasts quite a while (most of the day!) and I can honestly say, despite me having the ability to smell bad quickly, I stayed fresh ALL. DAY. I DID NOT expect to love this so much. Definitely repurchasing!

Thank you so much BzzAgent! I love you!

Julep Sweep - The Photogenic Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

This is long over-do, since I've had this palette since before Christmas. There's been some controversy over this palette since people started receiving it since the original picture didn't match the actual product. This was never addressed, but they did end up changing the picture:
Unfortunately, I had ordered it for the top picture, not the bottom, so already I was disappointed. However I love eye shadow and was SUUUPER excited to try it anyway.

To me, the eye shadows on my skin don't even look like the eye shadows in the pot. They come off more orange-toned than they appear. Another problem is this eye shadow has REALLY bad fall out. I end up getting shadow all over my face. Even swatching them got everywhere. I wanted to love this SO. MUCH, and I will still use it but I could have lived without it. The packaging is gorgeous, though.
I'd pass on this palette and go for something more high-end, but that's just my opinion.

If you do want to try it out, the link is here.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask Review: Green Tea Peel-Off Detox & Pore Cleansing Masque

Hey!
As I previously stated, I received 3 Montagne Jeunesse masks to review from Obsessed Canada a few months ago. One of the ones I chose was the Green Tea Peel-Off Detox & Pore Cleansing Masque because my pores are pretty bad. The other two masks will be done in another review post, one for me and one for my boyfriend.
First of all, I must say that I HATE this packaging. It's so difficult to squeeze out and if I have any extra product left in it, it always gets thrown out. Despite my hatred for the packaging, I love face masks too much to let that affect me.
The application was not easy because the product is clear, so you can't see where you have applied it and where you haven't. It says to keep it on for about 20 minutes, but within 13 minutes (I timed it), it was already dry to the point where I couldn't move my face. I left it on for a bit longer just to get the full effect. Once I started peeling, it was so easy to come off! I've used face masks where I had to claw at my face to remove, but this one peeled off with ease.
The very first thing I noticed was how refreshed my face felt. It felt revived and amazing. I can't wait to use more Montagne Jeunesse masks because this experience was great.

I definitely recommend this mask if you like peel-off masks. It was refreshing, my pores look better, it peeled off wonderfully and it was quick!

You may purchase them here, they're cheap and SO worth it! Thank you Tiffany from Obsessed Canada for this opportunity.

Montagne Jeunesse Masks & New Years Resolution

Hey!
I'm finally getting myself together after all of the Christmas related things, and there are a few things I need to discuss. I have received three free Montagne Jeunesse masks to review from Nail Polish Canada (well, their website obsessedcanada.com) and I will be doing that soon! I'll do one review by myself, and one review with my boyfriend so you can see how the masks react to different skin types. I'm very excited to do these masks and SO upset that I've had to put it off for so long, so the first one I'll be doing is tonight!

Next is my New Years Resolution. I have decided that I am going to use my entire Julep nail polish collection (probably not in one year haha), and the best way to do that for me is alphabetically. (best range in colours and that way I'll get them all). My first up is Abbie, and I'm probably going to do that in a skittles mani!

I hope you all had an amazing holiday time, and have some good resolutions for 2015!
