This came out way differently than I expected. I expected it to be a dark metallic with a thick formula but it wasn't! It was more of a metallic soft lavender, a thin formula but buildable. (This is two coats) Obviously all mistakes show up but I still really like it!

My Valentine's Day!

I got super spoiled this Valentine's Day by my perfect boyfriend. I didn't get good pictures because I was so overwhelmed!

He got me Julep's Cupid Mystery box, Julep's The Wish List set, Too Faced Chocolate Bar, Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar, 3 boxes of chocolate, a stuffed animal and roses! 

I spoiled him too, but his financial situation is different than mine so he REALLY went above and beyond, like he does every day. I could never have asked for anyone better. I'm glad I've spent this Valentine's Day. (And the past two!)  I love him more than words could explain and I'm SO thankful for these overly generous gifts.

Julep Alexis

So.. I skipped Alexandra. I'm either going to get rid of it (sell it or give it to someone), or try it another time. I decided to do Alexis instead! 

While applying it, the formula was amazing. I find that with the older Julep's the formulas are either a massive hit or a massive miss, and this one is 100% a hit! It applied smoothly and evenly and I barely required clean up. I was super unsure of the colour in the lighting at my house (we have yellow toned lights) so I was pretty unhappy but once I got to my boyfriends house (picture above) I LOVED IT! This colour is growing on me quickly. I used the Julep Oxygen Base Coat and the Oxygen Top Coat and my mani feels kind of like a gel manicure. (I usually use Orly Bonder + Seche Vite) 

But yeah, I'm actually enjoying this mani! It's different in a good way.

BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette Swatches

I decided that it is time I swatched the beautiful Galaxy Chic palette by bhcosmetics because of how much I've been loving it! This set of swatches were swatched with my finger, not applied wet & not applied on primer. Each swatch was about 3 layers of eyeshadow. 

They applied pretty well, a little sheer but they're VERY buildable. Now here are swatches of every colour applied wet. 

I definitely recommend this palette, it has a wide range of colours and they're all just stunning. I absolutely L O V E it! I think they should make eyeliners in these colours!
